The CSU System builds strategic partnerships with industries and organizations worldwide.

Our partnerships are key to the CSU System’s commitment to serving students and stakeholders in Colorado and beyond as we work to fulfill our mission, values, and vision.

CSU System partnerships cover a broad range of organizations from Amazon to Zoom, and towards work from advancing employees through customized training and education to research and development.

CSU Global partnered with Amazon and its Career Choice program to provide Amazon hourly employees with access to bachelor’s degrees and undergraduate credit-bearing certificates to empower them towards new skills for their career success.

The alliance provides a variety of education and upskilling opportunities to meet Amazon employees where they are on their education journeys and provide foundational and in-demand job skills. To help ensure success, CSU Global provides Amazon employees with a job skill assessment to identify strengths and interests. Enrolled employees also have full access to CSU Global’s suite of student support services including 24/7 tutoring, tech support, online library access, career guidance, and writing resources. Through 100% online asynchronous classes, the university provides the flexibility necessary for employees to complete their programs while maintaining work, family, and community commitments.

The Morgridge Family Foundation partnered with CSU’sCollege of Agriculture to advance its lens and impact at the intersection of agriculture education and technology, and urban/rural connectedness at the new CSU Spur campus.

The relationship has created the Morgridge Learning Lab that advances innovative education, research, and problem-based learning career development pathways for safe and sustainable food production, and equitable participation from diverse rural, urban, local, and global stakeholders. The Lab is home to CAM’s Ag Academy and other educational programs, and hosts a variety of hands-on, problem-based learning activities for 6ththrough 12th grade students. Additionally, through the partnership, the Morgridge Family Foundation facilitates an urban-rural connectivity portal for connecting people across the state to learn and collaborate to solve problems in real time, as it helps integrate sustainable food systems and hunger relief research within the regional landscape while providing support to Ag Pathway Scholars which elevates new agricultural leaders to impact industry, education, and future generations.

Given the significant role that remote work will play in our evolving workforce, the State of Colorado agencies of the Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC), the Office of the Future of Work in the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), and the Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) and Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC), enlisted the online expertise of CSU Global to help prepare workers and employers to thrive in a virtual team environment.

The collaboration led to the creation and deployment of collegiate-credit bearing online certificate programs — one for supervisors and leaders and one for employees — to help workers and employers alike succeed in a remote work environment. The customized programs for employees provides strategies for successful productivity, collaboration, and advancement within remote and hybrid work environments; and the supervisor course provides managers and leaders with the best practices, tools, insights, and skills needed to effectively lead remote employees and teams. The knowledge and skills learned through these certificate courses will help keep Colorado’s workforce connected, productive, and prepared for the future and the State’s ongoing success.
